Unified was engaged by Renascent for the refurbishment and upgrade of Sydney’s Transport Management Centre, the state’s 24/7 hub for managing road and public transport networks across NSW.

The centerpiece of the upgrade is a state-of-the-art 23-metre digital screen wall, Australia’s largest, giving operators an unparalleled real-time view and control of 18,000 cameras and 4,600 traffic signals across the state.

Unified delivered a comprehensive technology upgrade, including a Dynalite DALI lighting control system, Panduit Cat 6A structured cabling solution, 12-core SMOF fibre to every workstation, and RG214 high-performance coaxial connections to each work station. The scope also included new Distribution Boards and a new UPS Main Distribution Board, along with upgrades to the existing 100 kVA UPS.
